twenty eight

I'm putting in a lot of hours at work. I'm warming up to the people more; I feel very comfortable. I feel really comfortable on my own now. I'm focused on making my dreams come true.

I spent time at the Ratliff's tonight, down the block, with Skye, Chase and Austin. We made baked brownies, got baked, and drank pink wine (well, not Chase). It was nice. Kind of like hanging out with family, but better.

I forgot the charger to my camera battery so I'll have to wait until I go to San Antonio next weekend to get it.

twenty seven

It's hard to keep up with this thing when I start getting busy with actual life.
Skye came home and I'm glad she's here, but not for why she's here.
Work is slowly starting to take over.

twenty six

The moon was enchanting tonight.
I dyed my hair back to an ombré tonight, I'll lighten it again in 3 weeks.

twenty four

I worked this morning until the early afternoon and then I spent the rest of the afternoon practicing yoga. Then when it got darker I went outside and practiced a little more, until my brother asked me to teach him some poses, so I did and it was the cutest thing ever. It was so great, I have been practicing fairly often but today I really fell back in love with the practice. There is so much patience and self-relization that comes with yoga. As I was driving tonight I couldn't help but smile, and I realized I finally got that yoga-high I haven't felt in such a long time.
Last night DF and I skyped for an hour or so and it made me very happy. It was so good to see him again and really laugh those great big belly laughs that only he can provide (because he's so stupid, I just can't, and I love it). We're planning to spend time together in a couple of weekends in San Antonio, so I'm looking forward to that and the perfect lazy weekend it will be.

twenty three

Savannah and I have decided to call this "Art Hoe Day". We took the DART to Dallas and walked quite a bit to snappy salads. Now we're going to get vegan cupcakes. And talk more about our men that we adore beyond measure. It's fine.

twenty two

A group of 7-9 of us all smoked, drank, and played cards against humanity in a circle outside. It was great. Talking to you was better.
